There are numerous reason's why you may want a website. To start the process you should take note of what you are trying to achieve before embarking on the process. Think about what information you need to host and the relevent contact details which need to be present.
Content
A website is made up of various pages of content. The main pages you need to include on a standard site include (but are not limited to):
Homepage - The main landing page for your information. This should hold information that will make an instant impression as it's where most people will land.
About us - Information about the organisation or individual that the site is about
Contact us - All contact details should be listed in one area
News - Information and news relevent to the organisation or industry the organisation operates in.
Products/Services - Showcase the products and services the organisation provides.
For each of these pages you should write the script you want to include on the page. This can be done before or after you decide to create a site, but is usually done by the customer (not us) in order to make sure the information on the site is as per your requirements. An email or word document will suffice. If you have any other pages you would like added you can detail them also.
Design
Think about how the site should look. Are there standard colous that should be used in the template/theme for the site. If not we can provide sample templates.
Images
Are there any images you would like to include on the site? Or would you prefer us to provide stock images to fill certain gaps or provide colour to the site.
